Oh, I always loved to run.

Then the infamous time trials here for Mexico City.

I would have been so nervous.
I think that might be the reason why I injured myself
the way I did, just, you know, you get so keyed up
for something like that.
I really think if I hadn't injured my knee,
I probably would have went on to Mexico City for the Olympics,
but, well, that's life, right?
But you healed.
You could have come back.
My knee healed all right, but, you know,
the strength was gone.
It just was never going to be the same.
But that's enough about me anyway.
